Embedded SW/HW engineer

We are looking for a full-time electronics engineer, with solid programming experience and strong affinity with embedded design, to join our camera development team In Eindhoven on the High Tech Campus.  We are looking for a SW/HW engineer to participate in the design of customized video devices, implementing Embedded LINUX device drivers and write video AI/streaming applications. The video devices are part of our IP/AI-enabled product line. You have a good understanding of hardware design for embedded solutions and you can easily translate the hardware specification into software integration in the Embedded platform.

You are familiar with embedded hardware systems and software development for embedded Linux systems (Yocto, Docker, git, Visual Code, etc.) as well as firmware development for devices. Knowledge or experience with video and/or imaging is a pre. 

Responsibilities:  Team up with the IP/AI project team to further develop hardware and software for the IP/AI-platform SCAiLX and our IP camera platform.  

Required skills:
•    BS or MS Electrical or Embedded Engineering;
•    Kernel development, BSP, Device Trees, device drivers under Linux, …;
•    Knowledge of CAD design tools (eg. Altium, KiCAD, …);
•    Solid knowledge of C/C++, Python;
•    Experienced with embedded SDK’s, YOCTO, …; 
•    English written and spoken.

Desirable skills:
•    Electronic compliant design experience (CE, UL, etc.) pre;
•    Video and imaging basics; 
•    Video streaming applications;
•    Eager to Learn
