Our company is developing a cutting-edge wireless communication system that connects multiple portable devices. This role offers a junior engineer the opportunity to learn directly from experienced engineers while working on real-world RF and system-level challenges. The system must support long range, high data rates, low latency, and robust performance in the presence of interference and multipath, providing an excellent environment for hands-on learning, experimentation, and growth as part of a collaborative engineering team.

We are looking for a Junior RF Engineer to join our talented engineering team in Eindhoven.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, simulation, and measurement of RF chains and device assemblies under guidance from senior engineers
  • Support the selection and evaluation of key RF components such as FEMs, filters, and switches, including lab characterisation and data analysis
  • Contribute to board-level RF layout design and optimisation, and help identify and debug layout-related performance issues
  • Work closely with software and hardware development teams to learn system-level requirements and ensure RF designs align with overall system goals

Technical Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of RF performance characteristics such as S-parameters, Psat, Nfig, IP1, IP3, and IMD for LNA, PA, frequency converters.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux-based development environments, with basic Shell scripting skills to support RF testing, data collection, and automation.
  • Programming experience in MATLAB, Python, or similar languages for supporting evaluation and testing.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new RF concepts and tools
  • Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and continuously develop technical and professional skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing requirements and priorities
