As HighTechXL continues to evolve rapidly, with significant expansion in both our portfolio and company structure, we are now seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on a part-time basis (0.4/0.5 FTE).

Key Responsibilities:
– Overseeing financial reporting for HighTechXL, collaborating with management to develop and monitor annual budgets, conducting quarterly budget reviews, and presenting financial updates to shareholders and the Supervisory Board.
– Representing HighTechXL alongside the CEO in meetings with shareholders and the Supervisory Board. Although accounting and payroll functions are outsourced, you will manage their coordination, approval, and oversight.
– Enhancing and monitoring the company’s process framework to encourage ongoing improvements.
– Managing our portfolio, supporting the growth of HighTechXL ventures post-graduation, advising on capital raising, investments, cap table adjustments, and potential exits, leveraging your investment legal process expertise.
– Providing strategic financial advice and regular portfolio value reports.
– Mentoring current program startups in financial planning and related activities.
– Participating in the establishment of a Pre-Seed Fund.

Qualifications:
– Minimum of 5 years in a CFO role, with a strong background in working with shareholders and supervisory boards.
– Experience with startups or scale-ups, specifically in raising investments and preparing for investment rounds.
– Proven ability to maintain compliance in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.
– Proficient in delivering comprehensive financial reports and insights to stakeholders such as shareholders and management teams.
– Preferably possessing a network of (angel) investors.
– Passionate about technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation, with a structured approach to work.
– Knowledgeable about legal investment frameworks.
