About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CMOS Image Sensor Characterization Engineer to join our innovating team. In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical and optical characterization of CMOS image sensors, supporting the development and validation of next-generation imaging solutions using our novel color splitter technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute test plans for CMOS image sensor characterization, including electrical and optical performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain automated test setups using lab equipment (e.g., light sources, optics, power supplies, oscilloscopes…).
  • Analyze sensor performance data (e.g., QE, SNR, DR, PRNU, DSNU, FPN, temporal noise, dark current, etc.).
  • Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams.
  • Generate detailed technical reports and present findings to cross-functional teams.
  • Support sensor bring-up, debugging, and validation during prototype and production phases.
  • Contribute to the development of internal tools and scripts for data analysis and test automation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in CMOS image sensor testing or optoelectro device characterization (academic or industry).
  • Strong understanding of image sensor architecture and performance metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment and optical setups.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and scripting (Python).
  • Familiarity with image processing concepts and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present complex technical information clearly.
