Job description

As an FPGA/VHDL engineer you’ll always have new challenges, and you will be learning more about complex electronics every day. You will be part of a multidisciplinary project team within the engineering department consisting of hardware, embedded software, FPGA and LabVIEW engineers. As an experienced engineer, you take the lead in the specification, design, simulation, realization and debugging of complex FPGA and SoC architectures. You work on diverse projects in various application domains in the high-tech industry. Does this appeal to you? Then we would like to get to know you.

Job requirements

• a university degree preferably in Electrical Engineering or Technical Informatics or Computer Engineering
• minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in FPGA development
• good knowledge of VHDL is required, System Verilog knowledge is a plus
• knowledge of Xilinx and/or Intel (Altera) FPGA tooling
• affinity with hardware and embedded software is a plus
• experience with model-based design is a plus
• eager to learn, and a pro-active attitude
• good communication skills, both within the development team and externally towards customers
• a team player who can also work independently
• good knowledge of the English language in word and writing
