Be part of the next edition of 3EALITY Sessions: a series where innovators and creatives share real-world use cases with the 3EALITY community.

This presentation introduces recent work from the Trans Realities Lab at Design Academy Eindhoven, outlining how the lab is developing frameworks for distributed immersive environments across film, XR / spatial computing, and distributed computing. Professor Ian Biscoe will discuss and screen Cat Content, a film produced collaboratively and simultaneously across multiple countries, where all contributors were working inside a high-fidelity shared virtual world. The project demonstrates how cinematic production can operate within persistent virtual environments, enabling real-time collaboration, coordinated authorship, and spatially situated storytelling. The project serves as a testbed for similar collaborations in design, education, and manufacturing.

The talk also marks the Trans Realities Lab’s arrival as a resident within 3EALITY at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven.
