Accelerating AI Value: Unveiling Cloudera’s AMPs for ML Projects
What if we told you could move the starting line closer to the end In the race to realize value from generative AI?

Cloudera’s Accelerators for ML Projects (AMPs) do just that, with prebuilt, fully functional prototypes that provide Cloudera customers with a minimal viable product with a single click. In this session, we will demonstrate some of our newest AMPs that demonstrate AI applications powered by LLMs.

Join us on April 17th at the AI Innovation Center in Eindhoven to learn:

  1. How Cloudera enables generative AI for the Enterprise;
  2. What Accelerators for ML Projects are and how do they reduce time-to-value for new generative AI projects;
  3. How to build a retrieval augmented generation (RAG) application;
  4. How to fine-tune a foundation model for multiple tasks with parameter efficient fine-tuning (PEFT).

Agenda

  • 09.00 AM: Welcome & Coffees
  • 09.30 AM: Cloudera’s Ecosystem: explore Cloudera’s comprehensive approach to managing data from edge to AI, emphasizing its cloud-native features.
  • 09.50 AM: How Cloudera enables generative AI for the Enterprise
  • 10. 15 AM: What Accelerators for ML Projects are and how they reduce time-to-value for new generative AI projects
  • 10.45 AM: How to build a retrieval augmented generation (RAG) application
  • 11.10 AM: How to fine-tune a foundation model for multiple tasks with parameter efficient fine tuning (PEFT)
  • 11.30 AM: Open Forum, Q&A
  • 12.00 PM: End

Speaker
Jacob Bengston |
Technical Evangelist Director at Cloudera, championing the transformative potential of Machine Learning and Generative AI

Jake is presently the Technical Evangelism Director at Cloudera, where he specializes in demonstrating how Cloudera’s Lakehouse supports Generative AI and the entire data lifecycle. His journey in Cloudera began as a Senior Product Marketing Manager over machine learning lifecycle products.

However, Jake’s professional journey didn’t start with Cloudera. He previously honed his skills at ExxonMobil, starting as a Data Scientist and eventually progressing to a Data Science and Analytics Solution Architect role. In addition, he held the role of Senior Data Scientist and Data Science Manager at FarmersEdge, adding a startup and geo-spatial facet to his experience.
