At AI Summit Brainport 2025, participants are invited to explore this year’s central theme: “How to trust AI? The Good, the Bad and the AI.”

The summit brings together leading experts and innovators to examine both the promise and the challenges of artificial intelligence. Topics will include explainable AI, verifiable models that illuminate the “black box”, and the ethical questions surrounding bias and fairness that influence AI’s societal impact. Sessions will also address the existential risks posed by advanced AI, emerging strategies for AI security, and practical approaches for the safe deployment of AI technologies. Key questions such as who holds responsibility when AI systems fail, and how to make accountability actionable, will be explored in depth.

Through interactive tracks and dynamic sessions, AI Summit Brainport 2025 offers a unique opportunity to discover how to harness the good, confront the bad, and help shape the future of trustworthy AI.

Explaining AI Track by the AI Innovation Center

For the fourth consecutive year, the AI Innovation Center is proud to host one of the tracks at the AI Summit Brainport 2025 on November 13th.

What does it take to trust AI, and why does it matter more than ever? Organized by the AI Innovation Center, the Explaining AI Track (formerly known as the Expert Track) brings together leading companies and experts to tackle this question head-on. The morning program features sessions on integrating AI into industrial high-tech manufacturing, navigating digital sovereignty, and concludes with a deep dive into edge AI and how intelligent agents are entering the physical world. In the afternoon, the focus shifts to applying a human-and-virtual-companion approach to enable smart manufacturing, earning trust through GenAI-driven employee engagement, and ending with a powerful reflection on how to Remain Human in Times of Exponential Technology.
