With Envision Medical we make vascular access simple to perform and easy to learn. Peripheral vascular cannulation is the most common invasive procedure but still has a 20-50% failure rate. Ultrasound guidance is the best solution, but is used rarely because it requires a high level of expertise and is difficult to learn. We have developed the Vascoscope, an ultrasound based system with innovative features to the Vascoscope system has recently been launched successfully and is now in use in several hemodialysis centers in the Netherlands.
