10 extra business benefits we really would like to share with you....

1. THE PEOPLE: TAP INTO HIGH-TECH EXPERTISE

Of course, building a winning business is all about access to exceptional talent. People from over 85 nations make up our community on High Tech Campus Eindhoven. We’re proud of our international reputation as a centre of business and scientific excellence; but also a Campus with an open, collaborative culture that welcomes everyone.

The Campus has attracted over 11,000 highly-qualified people that are truly the best in their field. Another 50,000 high-tech professionals work in the surrounding region, called “Brainport”. Both Eindhoven Technical University and the Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) are nearby talent pools.

2. THE POWER OF THE INTERNATIONAL CAMPUS NETWORK

The wide variety of social and professional networks will help you and your colleagues settle in fast and feel at home. In addition, the city of Eindhoven operates a dedicated Expat centre to help companies and individuals settle in fast and enjoy a great quality of life. There is expert, independent advice on (international) schooling, healthcare, moving, housing and tax scheme advantages for international residents. The Campus Business Development Office can make all the necessary introductions.

With over 500 technical, business and social event on Campus during the year, it’s easy to build both a professional and social network with those disrupting the High-Tech Sector and beyond.

3. EVERYTHING IS CLOSE

Feast your eyes on our company leaderboard. It’s our high-tech power network – and it’s the key to the success of High Tech Campus Eindhoven. Below is just a selection of more than 160 leading tech companies, large and small within 5 minutes’ walk from your office.

The presence of multinationals such as Philips, NXP and Intel, as well as research institutes such as Holst Centre and Solliance, means there is a wealth of expertise available within High Tech Campus Eindhoven. And the cluster of research centres is constantly growing. Open any door and reach out to the world!

4. THE MAGIC OF OPEN COLLABORATION

The Campus is a unique ecosystem of established global brands, leading research institutes, fast growth enterprises, high-tech startups and service companies. The High Tech Campus Eindhoven works because the gates are always open. High fences around research facilities have two negative effects: it keeps possible partners from looking in, but it also makes it difficult for employees to look outside. That can be fatal when you’re competing with rival companies that are collaborating, not only with each other but with their customers. It leads to tunnel vision and a self-congratulatory culture which is often afraid of taking a critical look at itself. Innovation is not a department. It’s a culture. At High Tech Campus Eindhoven open collaboration is part of everyone’s DNA.

5. FAMILY FRIENDLY – EDUCATION NEEDS COVERED FOR ALL

High Tech Campus Eindhoven understands the needs of over 85 nationalities that make up our International community. There’s a professional day-care centre on Campus for kids from 0-13 years. We know that schooling is an important factor in choosing where to raise your family.

The South-East part of the Netherlands is home to excellent schools specializing in primary and secondary education for children of expats from 4 to 19 years of age. These schools follow international curricula recognized world-wide. All lessons are given in English.

The International School Eindhoven is the nearest, being part of a network of schools spread throughout The Netherlands. They are partly funded by the Dutch government, ensuring school fees are affordable. Private, independent international schools and tuition are also available.

6. INVENTION CAPITAL ATTRACTS ACCESS TO FINANCE

Rapid improvement in core high-technologies is fuelling exponential innovation. The current pace of technological advance is unprecedented in history. It shows no signs of slowing down. Changes wrought by exponential innovation are increasing the pressure on companies to perform.

Eindhoven is the most inventive city in the world based on one of the most commonly used metrics for mapping the geography of innovation, namely “patent intensity.” The city produced 22.6 patents for every 10,000 residents, according to recent studies by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development. On average, 4 patents are filed by the companies on Campus each day.

The reputation for success keeps growing because Campus companies are attracting foreign capital.

7. RESET YOUR WORK-LIFE BALANCE

The Campus Wellness Centre is fully equipped with the latest generation of Life Fitness equipment. On site Health Promotion trainers and coaches can advise on a personal fitness profile, and give individual training advice. There are group sessions for Body Pump, circuit training and spinning.

High Tech Campus Eindhoven also has its own sports club with the latest facilities. Campus Sports organises a whole range of indoor and outdoor sports activities on the Campus. Membership of a sports club also offers excellent opportunities to meet other Campus residents and build your social network. Membership is open to all Campus residents.

The Campus site is set in an open, green and park-like character. With some 15 kilometres of foot- and cycle paths, there is plenty of space for relaxation in between hectic work schedules.

8. ACCESS TO WORLD CLASS RESEARCH & TESTING FACILITIES

The Campus offers a broad range of advanced innovation services, expertise and high-tech facilities across the whole innovation process. This includes concept creation, product development, prototyping and small series production, right through to sustainability and industrial process consulting.

We offer access to 25.000 square metres of multi-purpose labs & clean rooms, reliability testing, checks on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and RF/DC measurement labs. High Tech Campus Eindhoven is independently owned and operated.

9. FULL SUPPORT FOR HIGHTECH STARTUPS

HighTechXL is Europe's business accelerator for high-tech hardware startups. It is supported by HighTechXL Plaza, which provides early-stage companies with affordable offices, labs, and services. Later stage technology start-ups and corporate spin-offs have clustered together in two dedicated buildings on the Campus: the βèta Building and the Mμ Building. 10. FAST & EASY INTERNATIONAL CONNECTIONS

Eindhoven Railway Station is a major interchange for fast Inter-City train services to Amsterdam (Schiphol Airport), Rotterdam and many destinations in neighbouring Belgium & Germany. Eindhoven Airport is The Netherlands’ second largest airport with direct connections to over 70 European destinations including London, Berlin and Dublin.

High-tech city Eindhoven is home to Philips PSV Football Stadium plus a wide range of museums, art galleries, concert venues, theatres, shops and boutiques.
