Who are we? 

AKKA Netherlands is a subsidiary of the AKKA Technologies Group, an international engineering and digital consultancy company with more than 23 000 employees worldwide. For more than 30 years, the AKKA Technologies Group has been assisting the largest industrial players in all stages of their projects.

In the Netherlands, AKKA Technologies is relatively new on the market, which means it is a very dynamic organization: back-up and structure from a large industrial group, combined with an energetic, entrepreneurial team, ambitious to act as a trusted, value-adding partner. We focus on the Digital, High-Tech, Transport and Energy sectors.

While we are currently working from home, we hope to welcome you soon at our spacious office at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, close to the famous Strip with lots of restaurants - think of Italian and Indian food - and not to forget, a beautiful lake with swans and even several ducks!

Your challenge

You will work closely with Michelle in Talent Acquisition, Kateryna in Human Resources and Robert in Business Management. On a daily base, you will be involved in the following activities:

• You will participate actively in the candidate selection process in an international context:
  • Analyze clients’ needs
  • Candidate search: organize the sourcing media (drafting job descriptions, candidate searching on various platforms, keeping close relationships with schools and universities, participating to -digital- recruitment fairs)
  • Candidate selection: via screenings and interviews with focus on necessary skill requirements to determine if candidates match the position profile and company culture
  • Candidate follow-up: build relationship with candidates to create a Talent Pool, schedule client interviews together with the Business Team, salary proposal

• You will collaborate with HR in:
  • the follow-up and integration of consultants at AKKA; think of administration, onboarding, probation meeting and some expat management
  • the organization of in-company workshops and events

• You have a Bachelor degree with a passion for Human Resources
• You have 2-4 years of experience in recruitment in the High Tech Sector - must
• You understand various technical disciplines on high level, think of Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electronics and Embedded Software
• You are a great communicator and have excellent listening skills
• You are responsible, proactive and eager to take initiative
• You have a winner mentality and you are a go-getter
• You can both work in teams, as well as independent when this is required
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, speaking and writing
• You are energetic and talented with potential to grow and ready to develop your career in our company; creativity, self-confidence, and excellent organization skills are required because we work in a small team in Eindhoven, with a back office in Brussels
