Senior Java Engineer

As a Java Engineer you will be part of a team responsible for new state-of-the-art technologies in the HD maps space, targeting Autonomous vehicles.

What you’ll do 

As a Java Engineer you will be part of a team responsible for new state-of-the-art technologies in the HD maps space, targeting Autonomous vehicles.  

  • Design, implement, and maintain a map compiler based on Java;  
  • Deployment to public cloud platforms (Azure / AWS); 
  • Reviewing another developer’s code according to the team’s standards; 
  • Understand and contribute to software architecture and requirements; 
  • Contribute to software development capability improvements; 

What you’ll need 

  • 5 years of experience with a Java programming language in product development; 
  • Experience with CI/CD and deployment to public cloud platforms; 
  • You see automation, containerization, and cloud as standard elements of your daily work; 
  • You love working as part of a self-organizing Scrum team in a scaled, agile environment.; 

What’s nice to have 

  • Experience in database technology; 
  • Experience in GIS; 
  • Experience in Python; 
  • Experience in software architecture;  
  • Ability to drive wider consensus and influence decisions.
