As a Quality Manager in the Automotive Quality Team, you will play a key role in the implementation and the deployment of the Quality Management System and standards like ISO 9001:2015, ISO 26262 and ASPICE. You will facilitate the deployment of these standards across the organization with the objective to improve our products and services to increase customer satisfaction.

This role is a part of the quality function of the Business Unit Automotive within TomTom. You will help to build pragmatic and efficient processes that also meet the required standards to deliver world-class quality solutions to our customers.

What you’ll do

  • Understanding of TomTom Quality Management System and standards like ISO 26262, ISO 9001:2015, and ASPICE.
  • Organize internal audits, and coordinate with process owners the implementation of improvement actions.
  • Facilitate DFMEA, design reviews and release reviews.
  • Assess that SW, Services and Maps deliveries are done at the expected Quality Level and report to Project/Program Manager all related risks.
  • Produce the Safety Case based on Functional Safety Assessments, Audits, and inputs from safety engineering activities. 
  • Conduct Functional Safety Assessments during the product development life cycle to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in and provide a quality assessment for the Deal Review by analyzing customer requirements (SLA, Quality targets, performance KPIs).
  • Align with the Project Manager on the quality risks within the projects.
  • Manage quality of the PUs (Maps, Services), and promote principles of quality.
  • Work with stakeholders on process improvements and QMS changes.

What you’ll need 

  • Ability to understand, interpret and use ISO 26262 standards, as well as ISO 9001:2015 and frameworks like ASPICE.
  • Knowledge of and experience in software development and functional safety concepts (at least 1-2 years).
  • Experience in deploying tools like FMEA, Risk Analysis, 8D (problem-solving tool) within the projects team.
  • Skills to understand, document the processes, and interpret and analyze metrics data.
  • Ability to train others with respect to QMS and functional safety.
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills in English,
  • Working proactively with the project team to assess and mitigate the risks.
