Environment

All High Tech Campus Eindhoven business units have adopted the following rules:

  • It is not permitted to dispose of a chemical substance via the drains or sewers.
  • It is not permitted to dilute chemicals for the purpose of disposal.
  • Prevent the emission of vapours to the atmosphere.
  • Bio-active materials may not be used without permission.
  • The chemical centre in building HTC2 is responsible for the collection and disposal of chemical waste.

Prevent energy wastage by:

  • switching off computers, monitors and printers when not in use
  • switching off lights when not needed
  • reduce heating where possible
  • switching off equipment when not in use

Use energy efficient transport where possible. Take advantage of the Campus bikes.

Prevention of soil contamination strategy:
All possible protection measures are taken to prevent soil contamination.
In case of a spillage incident organizing and technical measures are in place to prevent soil contamination to expand. Incident reporting must be done immediately (040-27 44444). The company fire squad is equipped to deal with spillage control. In case of a small incident use the incident reporting form on the HTCE website.

'Coöperatieve Vereniging Milieu'

For High Tech Campus Eindhoven, the local authority provided a overall Environmental permit. All businesses at High Tech Campus Eindhoven have to work in accordance with this permit.
